This policy explains what data Deepantra Games collects when you visit deepantra.com and play Kingdoms of Earth, why we collect it and what your rights are. We do not sell your personal data.
Who we are
Deepantra Games operates this website and Kingdoms of Earth. For any privacy question or request, use the Contact button at the bottom right of this page.
What we collect
Account. A username and a password stored only as a salted scrypt hash, or, if you continue with Google, Google’s account identifier and your first name. We receive your email address from Google to confirm that it is verified, but we do not store it.
Game data. Your saved games, your character and everything your character does in the shared world, plus the date your account was created.
Technical data. Your IP address and browser details appear in server logs. We also use the IP address for a short time to limit repeated login and sign-up attempts.
Messages. If you use the contact form we receive the name, email address and message you enter.
Analytics and advertising. See the next two sections.
Cookies and local storage
koe_session keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. koe_google protects Google sign-in and lasts up to 10 minutes. koe_lang remembers your language for up to a year. These are needed for the service to work.
Google Analytics and advertising cookies load only if you press Accept. If you reject them, the Google tag is not loaded at all. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of the page, and your choice is remembered for a year.
Your browser’s local storage also holds your language, sound and game speed settings and, if you play offline saves, those saves. This stays on your device.
Google services
Google Analytics measures visits and actions such as pressing the Play button, if you accept cookies. Google Ads shows our ads, and if you accept cookies Google may link your visit to the ad you clicked. Google Sign-In lets you log in with your Google account.
Google processes this data under its own terms and may do so in the United States and elsewhere. You can read more at policies.google.com/privacy and install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Why we use your data
To run your account and the game (performing our contract with you), to keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest), to understand and improve the site and to measure our advertising (your consent), and to answer you when you write to us.
Who can see it
Our hosting provider Hetzner Online GmbH stores the service on servers in Germany. Google receives the data described above. Other players see your character’s name and in-game actions in the shared world. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and saved games until you ask us to delete them. Server logs are kept only for operating and securing the service. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to deal with your request. Google keeps analytics data according to our account settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and Türkiye’s KVKK law, you may ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to or restrict its use. Where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
To delete your account, contact us from the Contact button and tell us your username. We will remove your account and saved games. Your character may remain in the shared world as part of its history.
Children
Kingdoms of Earth is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
Passwords are never stored in plain form, and the site uses HTTPS. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please use a unique password.
Changes
We may update this policy as the game changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
