I held the seal of Ashford and started with 2,998 gold. On day 3 bandits took 83 gold and I fell back to Bramley. On day 10 the people of Ashford collected 90 gold.
A small neglect
On day 16 a petition arrived: the people wanted a festival. I never answered. On day 27 the ledger read: an unanswered petition hurt the people.
Tip: Do not sit on petitions. Even a no beats silence; people remember neglect.
Election day
On day 93 Rian Sığındere won the Ashford election, and I lost. A muhtar’s seat is not inherited here; the vote gives it and the vote takes it away.
Tip: Check popular support as an election nears. Do not leave it to the last day.
Day 252 ended with 4,482 in net worth, 5 troops and 42 renown. I lost the vote but not the game. Here, losing just opens another road.
